I first experienced the Northern Lights in Iceland about 10 years ago, it's a magical sight and you do sort of get 'hooked'. The last three trips to see them have been to Norway and a place called Tromso. It is a northern city inside the artic circle which makes a great base to go and explore and there are numerous companies offering trips. This time I used a company called Greenlander.no I would highly rate this company, the group is very small, between 6-7 and the guide is great.
Here's a few photos I took:-
It wasn't the best activity but if you use along enough exposure you do get some quite good results. I did use my 10-24mm lenses which I forgot does have VC, which I forgot to turn off, I think this has caused the less than sharp shorts.
